Kayaking on the Bay of Fundy

So it seems that for now we can just dream about getting out in our kayaks for another season on the tides of the Fundy. Its been a chilly start to our spring out here in Advocate Harbour - but we know it will change - or at least we hope!

My name is Werner and with my wife, Else Marie, we run NovaShores Adventures. What we offer is tours of the Cape Chignecto area, which is a wild parkland that juts into the northern Bay of Fundy. It is a magnificent area with towering cliffs, waterfalls that tumble right into the bay, sea caves and rock spires. The highest tides on earth have carved this area into a sea kayakers fantasy land. Eagles soar above, moose, deer and bear along with a host of smaller land mammals inhabit the shores and seals often accompany us in the water. Add a varied, interesting geological and human history and you will see why we are so enthralled with this place!

We would love to show you this area, which you can check out in detail on our site at http://www.novashores.com/ I know we run a business doing this, but even if you aren't interested in partaking of our services you really should come on up and discover this little known area of Nova Scotia as it is a special place - if you like nature and the outdoors.

If you are interested and have any questions let me know and I will do what I can to get you the answers. Bye for now!
